I have only traveled away from home a few times. Motels seem to almost always have wall-mounted lamps beside the bed which are perfect. I take a stretchy thin elastic head band (stolen from my teenager) and loop it over the arm of the lamp, and then route my hose through it. At my SIL's home, the bed had a big headboard with wood framing a wrought iron design--I just looped my headband through that and routed the hose.

I saw a YouTube video once of this guy that can hang his hose from anything, even a picture on the wall, using a bunch of rubber bands linked in a chain, so I always carry a bunch of linked rubber bands, just in case, when traveling.

I'm a side sleeper. Keep the hose next to me and sort of down and around the corner of my bed. Part of the hose hangs down but most of it remains on the bed. If I turn on my other side, I sweep the hose down and over my comforter. Never had a problem. Wouldn't be able to sleep with something hanging over my head.

I sleep on my back ( hey, somehow I got my APAP range dialed in and can get away with it and still have a very low AHI ) and just like Propellerhead and ems I have some of the hose next to me. I use a 8 foot hose, about 2 feet of it is on my left side, the hose then crosses over my lower chest/upper stomach area, and the rest of it hangs down to the right side and off of the bed to the humidifier. With my SnuggleHose cover the hose is cuddled and just part of the whole sleep package (pillows, blankets, mask, chinstrap, etc...)

Some questions / comments

1. I feel like i need a longer hose to do what i want it to do. Can you get longer hoses? Can you get 2 hoses and attach them up to each other?

2. I tried the hook the hose to the head strap, with velcro. Didn't work. Velcro wasn't strong enough to hold it. I need to make a loop of some kind maybe.

3. I can get any other mask i want. Is there something else I should try that is better? (i like the nasal pillows they are good)
