Would have to be tiny amount of velcro or the stitching and the velcro itself could leave a mark.
I understand what you both mean.
But if Karen decided to make the flat tubes with velcro, wouldn't the overlap flap be on the outside, with only one layer of cloth on the side touching our cheeks and ears? And if that is really thin fabric, wouldn't that do the trick?
I assume that she doesn't want to get into having us remove the straps to slip the covers on because maybe it is difficult to get them back into the lacing slots?
Not sure about that.

Remains to be seen... there really isn't any way to know until they are ready to be purchased and someone actually tries them.

Talking only about a cover for the side straps...Velcro strip (unless tiny & thin) is going to leave a "bump" in things. Yes, it will be on the outside but if a person lays their cheek on the pillow that "bump" is going to come into play because the bump itself will leave an impression. The cheek that is "up" won't have any marks. Even if I lay my cheek on a crease in the pillow case...I get a crease in my cheek.
If it can be done, Karen can do it. I am not so much worried about the side strap protector. I have that easily covered with a home made sleeve. Though I know that Karen can make something so much nicer. The trick will be to cover the ear loops with something tiny and comfortable so that there is grip plus softness.
So the ear loop cover will need to be thin... the side strap cover needs to be soft and similar to the other side strap covers that is available for the other mask's side straps.

I'm still waiting for my loops to come in the mail so I haven't experimented with this, but could you wrap the loop with embroidery thread? In sort of an overcast stitch?

Karen:
Now that you have one useless Bella strap from accidentally cutting it, could you experiment with its remains by unlacing it from its connector to see whether or not it is difficult/possible to relace it back onto the connector tab?

I am the dumb @ss who cut her ear loop. I will play with things to see just how much of a PITA taking the strap out and lacing up again will be. Report later.

Whoops, sorry. I corrected my post.
I have "Karen" on the brain because it is also the name of my GF!
You are entitled to a lawyer, you are entitled to remain silent, but please don't!
Please tell all.

Okay...report on deconstructing the loop. Easy to take apart..and Easy to put the straps back in the slots. Takes a slight tug to get the last "bump" out and back in but easy to do and no where near the force that might tear something.
So...if we had a long skinny tube thingy to cover the part of the strap that goes behind the ears it would not be difficult to even just slide it on.

Chunky,
Do you have a url for that?
Looking for it, I found something called Snuggle Cover pair for the Bella Loops:
https://www.cpap.com/productpage/snuggl ... dgear.html
but nothing by Rem-zzz
What does it look like?

Hmmm... from first glance it doesn't appear to be very comfortable - too much material - too thick.

Well I just decided to be the guinea pig and jump on these. I was surprised to see them on cpap.com
I assumed we would have to custom order covers for the Bella loops. But maybe we still will.
I will let everybody know.
Thanks for the report Pugsy on how easy it was/is to unlace and re-lace the straps.
