Have you tried switching your Swift FX from the headgear to the $25 Bella Loops?

And adding a chinstrap?

These two changes cut my leak problem by 2/3.

I haven't tried the Bella Loops. I'm perfectly comfortable with the standard headgear, and basicly have no leak problems coming from the mask itself.

The chinstrap....I'm afraid to try. I have severe COPD and do a lot of coughing. I don't want anything that impeads my ability to open my mouth when needed. Tapeing my mouth is also out of the question for the same reason.

Glaxo Smith Kline makes a series of products to address dry mouth conditions (regardless of the cause):

You might want to give them a shot. You definitely do not want gum problems to lead to loss of teeth.
