Hi Folks, sorry I haven't been here for awhile, things have been pretty hectic but are settling down now. I have a wonderful private aide helping me in the morning and in the afternoon if I have to go out or we have Dr. appts. Mike seems to be doing better with the O2 at night, waking more alert and in better spirits. (I think he has a crush on Debbie!) I'm getting some better sleep and I'm less anxious but that other shoe is always there. His AHI has been a little higher the last 2 nights but he's sleeping more deeply with less arousals, I think? I was able to purchase a pretty PRS1 Bipap Auto from a generous member as the Pulmo who saw him in the hospital said bipaps are his machine of choice for his patients, even with plain vanilla OSA. He said he "gets around the diagnosis issue". We have an appt with him in early May and will ask him to explain more. Our wonderful Pugsy has offered to help me set it up when I feel a little more comfortable. After these last 2 good nights I don't feel like rocking the boat just yet. I'm not as adventurous as Pugsy! Thanks for thinking of us and keeping this thread going. I'll try to catch up with the forum soon. Love ya all!
