All good & well.....but just remember, as newbies WE asked some very basic questions. I know......we answer them over and over again......but let's keep on being democratic, shall we? BTW, I've used that spam button too, once I get irritated enough by stuff that really is spam.

Can someone let me know what the TAS forum is? Thanks much!
TAS: talkaboutsleep.com
Has several divided forums specific for information (ie: Narcolepsy, Dental Devices, Insomnia). The freedom of posting specific material isn't available there as it is here. Johnny, one of the moderators, is very lax and gives us posters alot of freedom here. That doesn't mean he takes crap, but he is just very lenient in what is allowed here.
This forum is very successful and I believe one of the reasons is because of allowed posted material, which Johnny oversees. TAS is still good, but just not on this level. TAS is better for dental devices and other information, whereas this site is more for CPAP/APAP (reference the cpaptalk.com!). Sleepnet.com is another good site, specifically the Non-CPAP forum which talks in depth about surgery alternatives.
All sites have thier strengths, but this site is by far the best "community" atmosphere. I think it really helps to be an involved member of all 3 if you have time, or if your an internet junkie like me!
