Of these, point 2 is a verifiable fact. It's not unusual to find zero members are logged in at any particular time. Only at peak times are as many as a half-dozen or more members logged in.

Actually, there could be many logged in members at any given time whose names will not show up as online if they've chosen "Yes" to hiding online status in their Profile - Preferences.

I think polls like this are interesting and informative. I think if we keep posting and keep this at the top of the list we will get the results we are looking for . I put my vote in as soon as I saw the poll. I just did not post a response until now.

I have been on a hiatis because I didn't think I could add much more to the talk list.

I use the ResMed Auto Spirit and my husband just loves the ResMed Lightweight. I have changed the pressure on the lightweight to best suit him and he is getting along fine with it. His only problem is, he has not figured out how to remove the water tank.

Bill, This is a good poll. Compared to the statistical evaluations presented on nightly news from public surveys, this is likely to be far more accurate on trends.

Also guests don't get to vote so many will clock up as having read this poll but can't vote so we can ignore that aspect.

I voted Respironics (despite having various machines). Fact is the 1st unit I ever bought was a RemStar AUTO & now I have just bought a Respironics BiPap S/T and the bulk of my museum collection are Respironics (even is some were by takeover).

My preferred xPAPs are

1) Respironics with equal 1st Resmed & equal 1st Puritan Bennett.

Those three each have great unique features plus widespread enough use to dominate.

2) I also regard DeVilbiss as very good quality but slipping behind the brands in 1) and I like many of the features of the Fisher & Paykel machines who also are slipping behind in many respects.

The absolute market leaders are Respironics & Resmed

Its the only machine I have ever had any experience with other than what they used in the lab. I guess its ok. I think the softex is not giving as much relief as at first, but that might be just me, I had to adjust it to ramp up from 10, anything less and I feel like I am suffocating. It has 3 softex settings. It is pretty loud, but no whine.
