Nope.. I just had to disable a safety check.. It guess it should comes with a warning for households with multiple CPAP machines..

If there is any overlap, the first imported machine gets precedence, and it might interfere with calculations on those crossover days..

Still best to avoid early naps to try out the new machine on changeover days..

I seem to have have partial leak reporting in the overview tab graph. Will work on it and report bug if I can't fix it as in the problem is me. The data is there in older version but incomplete (not totally absent) in Beta version.

Hi.. SleepyHead 0.9 is unfortunately a fresh start data-wise.

I could only really promise data carry-over from the beta onwards, and this is the first official beta. :-/

In the previous "alpha" test builds, the data format varied too much to be able to declare the internal storage format stable.
Part of the unpleasant joys of the early software development process.

The file format has has of this release been declared stable, after 9 months or so of development..

If I did try to support all the previous versions, the loader code would likely be half the program code, and I'd go insane maintaining it..

You can run the old version at the same time, and copy and paste any notes over..

Can someone elaborate on how to do this?
jedimark wrote:The good news is you can run the old version concurrently to copy over any data.
Hmmm, I adjusted some preferences, got a warning that it would have to recalculate, and since I didn't know which change required this, I told it to go ahead.
Now it is "recalculating summaries" but the status bar is still on 0% after several minutes.

I shut it down and restarted and left the preferences alone.
I have never even seen ResMed apart from screenshots.. I have not idea what the "Patient File" is..

Damn.. Try turning multithreading and cache session data off..

Reindexing is fairly complicated process, but the idea was it's supposed to be quicker than reimporting..
I was going to ask what multithreading was, so I hadn't messed with it. I'm still not sure what changes required the recalculating... maybe graph size.
The resmed "patient file" is the stored form of data after being downloaded into resscan. I didn't expect sleepyhead to be able to do anything with it. I can send you one if you are curious. My years worth of data is about 4gb. I'm settled in enough to not care much about old data...except for the hoader in me.. and the older stuff is better for that!

No I didn't do anything fancy at all You can go get the PR S1 card right now and put it in to import. No need to change anything because the directory for the SD import is the same. So I used 2 SD (one for the APAP I had already and one for the BiPap info) cards and the one ResMed folder to import into one user name. SleepyHead will simply put the PR S1 data in and show it available prior to the current ResMed data.
Ugh, so I did that, I imported the SD card from the PR, it stopped at 97%, pop up," Different Machine Detected, Has overlapping data, new data will override data from old machine,do you want to do this, Yes/No". Yes was highlighted so I clicked Yes, then came "Import Error, Machine record cannot be imported in this profile. The Day records overlap with already existing content". Maybe I have to wait until I use the PR again and have new data to import. Hopefully Mark will read this and be able to tell what's wrong.
Darn.. that was supposed to work. :-/

I'll have a look over it again.. I want to do an auto-updater test in the next few days, so 0.9.2 will be coming early..

Not sure of your Windows Explorer skills, but a workaround for now would be to copy your old machines data to a backup folder, and prune a few of the most recent session entries out of it.. then start a fresh profile, importing from this pruned backup folder instead of the old card..

Only need to prune one days worth of sessions.. They will be relatively easy to find as they will be the highest numbered session files in the data.. (you can also tell by the date stamp if you view as details instead of icons in Windows Explorer (or My Computer, whatever it's called..)

Nope ... (almost) doubled there as well ..... However in 0.8.8 and when read on the machine itself ... the AHI average for 7 day matches

Interesting thing is ... last night data is accurate in both?

Here is a comparison report for both versions ...

0.8.8

0.9.1

If you see event count and stuff all have almost doubled for 0.9.1. The numbers on the side (AHI, OA etc) are also close to double.

Overview of leak...roughly same time frame. Dec 26 through Dec 29 is absent because I used M series machine traveling.
Bear in mind I have multiple machines used here but in both versions of SH I have all the machines under one user. It is not a critical issue for me and unless someone else presents with similar finding. I normally don't even look at leak in overview. So unless someone else has a similar situation it could just be me and my multiple machines.

and overview from 0.8.8 version

I would have to check reports to see which machine was used exactly when..APAP until mid October...3 day trial with BiPap Pro...back to APAP till Oct 23 when I got my own BiPap... Dec through Dec24 trial with VPAP then back to Bipap till now except for the time I used the M series.

I do have missing leak info during the summer but both versions report that the same since I erased SD card (and wished I didnt I have AHI data for summer but no details but that is my fault) this above is the only thing that does not compute.

I like how this comes up first!
Changes to Prescription Settings...

Bad CPAP Patient! Very Very Bad CPAP Patient!
But then there is that part about how much lower my AHI is on MY pressure than my script pressure!

Damn.. So that data is definitely available on the card? (As in if you can go into Daily view on those blank days, do you see Leak data?)

On a different topic, you will note from that screen-shot,I have switched to using median rather than average display, and 95% instead of 90%.

All 90%/95% values are about is filtering out outliers or spikes in the data. I'm not trying to start a debate on which is better, but both these changes had a lot to do with consistency display data extracting on days where the card was missing/etc.. (I meant to add an option to allow you to adjust which ones you prefer.. I clean forgot..)

Hey, your legend tabby things above your graphs aren't showing properly.. Evil font size calculation bug on windows..

Yep, not one missing day in the daily leak graphs. Been checking pretty much every day since I got the BiPap machine but I quickly scrolled back through a bunch of daily detail to make sure..like maybe some gremlins ate it but they are all there. Only place it is missing is the overview.
jedimark wrote:On a different topic, you will note from that screen-shot,I have switched to using median rather than average display, and 95% instead of 90%.
Suits me just fine. I am not a great fan of % numbers anyway. Too easily skewered and misleading.

Huh? I am showing something wrong and don't have a clue what I am missing? I did go in and change all fonts to my preference and bold and italic.... maybe that is what messed with how it looks? I thought it looked good the way I prettied it up. First thing I did was change appearance.
