I thought I'd give an update after about two weeks on the BiPap Auto. I've seen my sleep doc's NP, and she is very happy with the results, has given me free reign to do what I feel necessary, and says she doesn't need to see me for a year.

I've had a few days with AHI lower than 3--I LOVE those days. I'm starting to wonder if I need to tweak some numbers in order to try to get more days like that.

I see I'm spending a lot of every night with my EPAP right at the setting. Do I need to back that down a little? Bump it up a little? I guess I'm really not sure where to go from here. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

From what I have read, we use EPAP to treat the obstructive apneas and IPAP for hyponeas.
If you reduce EPAP those OAs might increase a bit.

On paper you know that this is good enough but if you feel the need to try to reduce the obstructive apneas a little more...the EPAP needs to go up and not down. Probably don't need much and with time they might come down all on their own. Perhaps just a little 0.5 increase in EPAP.. That will make your IPAP 17.5 while awake and then the auto titration mode will kick in when the events start to present themselves.
