Y'all need to remember there are consumables that relax the LES...mint being one of them...mint toothpaste anyone? Doctor Michael Eades (think Protein Power) was exploring taking a supplement of a So American herb I believe that he reported helped with his occasional GERD episodes (he knew his food triggers)...might be worth checking out his site to see if he's posted/selling it.

and smoking. Smoking is bad.

No wait, smoking was good.

Anyway, this thread was about too much swallowing. Too much swallowing is bad cause you get all that sailva down there.

No wait. Saliva is good cause it's alkaline and helps GERD.

No wait. If you're on CPAP, then symptoms of GERD are relieved.

Unless you swallow too much.

Oh well, maybe having a little chocolate will help to figure this out.

No wait, that's bad too.

I give up. I'm having a drink.

No wait...

When you talk sense, few can make sense of what you're saying.

Yet, when you talk nonsense, few make more sense than you do.

Good to see you back in fine form, Double D.

BTW, is there a new 23 Hour Rule?

If there's only one response per 23 hours, you have turn your posts into dots?

Y'know, sometimes I think it's me...

Oh well, time for a nice cuppa Joe.

No wait...

In my case Prilosec tablets avoid the GERD, and Pepto Bismol get rid of the the ingested air.
