I was instructed by my tech 16 years ago to NOT USE baby wipes as they contain stuff that will deteriorate your mask. Baby shampoo was suggested which I do now about once a week otherwise I use cpap mask wipes sold on online stores and Walgreens I believe.
I was also instructed to use one part vinegar to three parts cold water for the hose. Let is soak for 30 minutes. Rinse, Hang to dry. I usually use small plates to keep the hose submerged in the solution.
It usually takes forever for all the water to dry up inside the hose so I hook it up to the cpap and let it blow for a few hours.
