With a porcupine, all the pricks are on the outside.

When trains were introduced in the U.S, many people believed that that “women’s bodies were not designed to go at 50 miles an hour,” and that their “uteruses would fly out of [their] bodies if they were accelerated to that speed.” -

Eliminating negativity doesn't mean one needs to
abandon recycling efforts.
Once captured, a good shake of humor or mockery will
immobilize the negativity so it may be safely disposed.

That's not funny . . . it's WISE. Thanks, so much, for posting.
It should be posted as a "sticky", so that it's the very 1st thing that everyone sees

Thanks for your thoughts Robear. Negativity has it's place and positive results have a dark side. For example, I don't want to experience a positive pregnancy test at this time in my life - Mostly because there would be a lot of media attention for someone of my age and that isn't my thing. There are also some other really scary medical tests that I would like filled with negativity as well, not only for myself but for others. No one needs to deal with the dark side of positive results, imho.
Negativity can be good, imho, if one is rejecting negativity that harms. There is no sense in putting up with it.

Negativity can be pretty funny, especially if
there's some righteous indignation or a pout to
accompany the negativity.
