Why don't they just shrinkwrap your head and attach a hose outlet on the front?

So I guess it's safe to say, we all agree on, when it comes to this mask, WHAT WERE THEY THINKING??? I'd be seriously curious to know if anyone has ever ordered it; and if so, what they had to say about it. I noticed no testimonial page on the site.

That's because all the users are now in various maximum security prisons waiting for a visit from Jody Foster.

If you look at the bar running across the top of the link you provided there is a testimonial page to click on.

Have not tried the XL as I have been doing fine with the large but may try when need replacing. I have been scarce I know, I have been very involved running my business at the same time dealing with one problem after another health wise. But I do check in occationally.
Custom made mask

I find it really amazing some of the comments on the post about a mask custom moulded to your face. I am a user of this mask and I have now just had my 3rd one made. It's great and of course will only fit my face. I have full compliance with my CPAP. I now use a 420E Auto. Yes it is different to look at but believe me it works. Oh by the way have you checked out the new mask. It is called Logical. At present there is just one page on the mask. This is what I have now and same as before it is custom moulded. It is so very very quiet and my hubby John doesn't have any cold air blowing on hime. he doesn't hear it at all. By saying it is very very quiet I don't feel and vibrations on the skeletel structure of my face as I felt with other masks. I just wish you guys in the US had the opportunity to know what it is really like to have a mask custom moulded to your face. after all do you by your dentures for your mouth from a shop or do you have them custom moulded. Same as for hearing aids. Lets face it you are sleep ing with CPAP all night so why not be the most comfortable you can be. Ally

Ally,
I hope you didn't take any of the comments made personally. It is an overwhelming mask just to look at in my opinion. Coming from wearing the least of all obstructive interfaces to imagining wearing this one is a bit hard to do. I thank you for your comments as to how positive you find it. Does it make your face hot at all by covering so much of it? Also, I would have thought that so much of any mask covering your face would only lead to more area to dislodge, thereby causing more leaks. Guess not if you love it so much.
Please don't take the comments personally. Everyone on this thread who wrote something about it has absolutely no experience with it and it just speaking from a birdseye view perspective.

I never saw a price for it. If it is $10 I may order a couple. But if it is $400 maybe not that fast. So, what is the going price for them?

Whoa, that would scare the kiddies and myself included!
Does the mask cover my mouth?
No, the mask sits over the mouth but does not cover it.
It could be somewhat of a dilemma if you have to tape for mouth breathing and then the mask would sit on top of the taped mouth. In the event that you may have to cough or sneeze, you're screwed. Also, how can it sit over the mouth - yet not cover it as described?

I wasn't taking this personally and thank you for your comments. I believe that this is such a successful mask because it does work and works so well. I am on my third mask since 1995. The new logical mask shows quite clearly that it doesn't cover the mouth. Well even on both styles of masks it shows it very well. Anyway this Logical mask works the same as the other mask in that it seals around the nostril region and therefore doesn't dislodge from the face because of the special sealing rings. As I mentoned before it is ever so quiet. I think the guy who is manufacturing these masks gets many referrals from Doctors. I was one of those people. By the way he has sleep apnea and uses CPAP every night so that accounts for heaps I reckon. The years taken to develop this product had come to fruition with an excellent mask. So who cares how much material is on the face if it works. Each one of us using a mask cannot say that it is a fashion statement. Anyway mine is great and so many people have problems. One day some one in the US might wake up and realise what they are missing out on and buy him out. God help me and other Australians then. Ally
