You would only need the 1.5 version of Encore Pro if you're using the newer Bi-Pap machines. Otherwise, the 1.4 version will do everything you need. You would also have to use a version of Derek's MyEncore prior to 1.5 as he wrote that version to work with the 1.5 version of Encore Pro.

Hey Den, can a person still download a free version of Pro 1.4?

I've tried to help people get the cheap reader and free download, and did save a couple of them money. But perhaps, in the long run, I've caused more confusion than good.

Hey guest,
Some of my problems were sql access, sql not found, running, etc. I didn't even get to the SA password choice. Then after some reinstalling and doing the renaming database suggestion it started asking for a server login when I tried to load. The "server" was my computer and none of my passwords worked. So to save time and frustation I wiped the system and all was good again. This also took care of a ghost program that kept my computer from going to hibernation.

1.5 is still at respironics site as far as I know.

I gave the person I was trying to help it, and the two sources for card readers - the Hong Kong one and the California one and let them make decision.

I conveyed that some ppl have had headaches with 1.5

Cpap.com indicates 1.4 on their webpage and that was the version I have and didn't have problems loading it myself.
