I'm actually pretty offended by this whole topic and wonder about the OP’s motives.

We all have a choice to participate or not and we do it free. This forum is pretty special and it could be gone tomorrow.

So it doesn't matter why we have been given this opportunity to share our experiences and help each other, but we are fortunate to have it and I personally don't care about the reasons behind it.

If you need a mission statement from CPAP.com to participate then don't participate.

I've tried a few other XPAP forums and this is the ONLY one I currently spend any time at - the others fell sadly by the wayside, totally lacking in my expectation of support, advice and awesome people to bounce ideas off.

I heartily agree.

When I first started this thread, my motives weren't even clear to me.

Partly idle curiousity, partly a crazy desire to incrementally improve this already great site even a tiny bit further.

A "living SDB book" would be a great start, imho.

But I could be wrong, as always.

So, I began with a semi-serious purpose.

But mars immediately sidetracked my semi-serious motives with his wickedly subversive sense of humor.

No stopping the indomitable train called Laughter, I quickly gave up any "serious" goals, and let, imho, a vastly underrated goal take it's place: It's called "just stfu and let the good times roll!"

Humor is indeed, the best medicine. So I let the good times roll.

Meanwhile, I'd much prefer that the "let the good times roll" vibe continues.

At least until someone has the unmitigated gall to ask me for a "Mission Statement".
