With my newfound energy I have volunteered for (or allowed myself to be appointed to): board of directors for SunRiders Miata Club, classing director for NASA-X FL Tampa (local autocross club), running the kitchen 3 weekends a year for model railroad club when they have their shows and sales.
Later this month I'm going to start building (remodelling the space, actually) my new woodworking shop.
And I'm not only chasing around that new puppy (yep, he's a lovable, cuddly ball of fluff and love, as playful as the day is long) but our 2 other dogs as well (some of you might remember the avatar I had of a white poodle/bichon wearing a Tilley hat).
Tomorrow I have to get up at 6am in order to get the autocross trailer down to the site. The club has a competition tomorrow and I'll also be competing and doing my best. It was only 6 months ago that I withdrew from competition because I knew that my reflexes just weren't up to performance driving. This was just before I started treatment. These days I'm am competing every month!
Although I can't say I'm driving any better than I did a year ago.
