Well if it is a troll, at least it's an entertaining one. I LOL'd
When you look back, this same "childrens' story" is posted by people with different user names in the recent past. I don't mean any disrespect by my comments, but the story and the behavior are bizarre.

I have not seen such a story but I will be the first to admit that I don't read all posts. This one doesn't ring any bells.
If you have links handy would you mind sending them to me in PM?

Might be other stories like it, though I honestly do not remember any that trigger memories / warning bells.
If you assume it is a parent who posted this, then I frankly do not find it bizarre. ...
[ jbf drags out his soapbox, climbs on and notes ... ]
Both of my children had strange and magical things happen as they were growing up. It is both good and wonderful to help drive the spark of imagination and creativity in a child. WAY too many adults can not think "outside of the box". They instantly limit themselves and others - because they did not learn the lesson "wonder". The world is (and should be) wonder full. Those who see the wonder are better able to deal with stress and difficult situations. Those are the people who find answers that no everyone else is limited from seeing. "We've never done it that way" should NEVER be a battle cry as we work through problems. "I wonder what would happen if ..." is the only method that works.
Any parent that uses an approach such as this to make a difficult situation more interesting is to be commended. If the OP is a troll, it's a far more interesting troll than normal. If it is a troll, it's just possible someone else might learn how to help their children deal with difficult situation. Wow! A troll that shows a perfectly valid parenting technique. I've heard of worse problems.
But then, that's just my 2 cents on the matter ...

Hi Everybody!, I've come back from another hard day's work giving My master Joey the air he needs to sleep better!,
Boy!, today was an exciting day, Master Joey went to sleep a little earlier today than usual, and when he fell to sleep, everything was doing fine, but Master Joey's mommy changed my humidity setting .5 more tham before....Master Joey did complain to his mommy that he was feeling a dry mouth... ...so I guess he nneded a change, well..umm...something happened while he was sleeping....Master Joey slept more hours today!, and well..ummm..my water in my chamberwent more away and away and away..untill...ummm...The water was gone! ..I couldnt give Master Joey anymore water because i didn't have anymore!..I wonder if he will do that again when he goes to sleep again tonight..
I wonder what will happen if I keep running my motor inside me with no water in my chamber?..hmmmm...I will go ask my mommy about that, I hope nothing bad!!..GULP!
Ok everybody, I'll talk to you again tomorrow, and let you know how my master is doing with his therapy with me!, I cant wait to work again!! YAYY!!
Love and Hugs,

Oh, Breathie! Please, take a deep breath and be calm! Your motor can run with no water in the humidifier, so no worries about the dry chamber. Some machines of your kind can run when disconnected from their humidifiers. Imagine that!! I wonder if the humidifiers of those machines have different names than the machines themselves. Perhaps you have met someone like that and can enlighten us??
And please do be careful with the GULPing. It can lead to aerophagia, you know.
A Question- Do people really run their humidifiers high enough to drain the tanks in one night?

Rare, but I do sometimes. Usually in summer when the A/C is drying everything out.

Hello Everybody!, It's Breathie again!
Thank you for your question Miss Paper-nanny, and thank you for answering my question about my humidifer getting dry, Daddy told me not to worry about that, but he did tell me to remind my master to clean my water chamber with soap and water to get all the used water out and have a clean chamber again., I reminded him when he woke up today, and master Joey's mommy helped him clean my water chamber good..YAY!! ..Master Joey almost ran out of water again today.... .....but I wasn't worried..
Master Joey did do something during the night yesterday that he said that he wasn't ever going to do again..Guess what he did?? ...He took off his little mask during the night and slept without it!!..... ..it was like an hour that he didn't sleep with it, But what happened was that he woke up with a nightmare and cried to his mommy that he had a dream that there were lots of ANTS in his room, and eating his toys up!...He told his mommy that he thinks he got the nightmare for taking his mask off and that he was never going to do that again, that he was going to keep his mask on his face when he goes to sleep from now on.... ..... ...I thought that was funny, but..I also felt bad for my master....but I hope he keeps his mask on his face now...because all I want to do is help Master joey get a better sleep...that is my purpose!
Oh, and i may have to get my elctronics checked, I don't know why this is happening to me, but it's like I cant seem to tell master Joey's mommy how many average hrs of sleep Master Joey is getting, I am supposed to let her know, but my reading on my LCD display shwos her the wrong numbers!.. ...I can tell Master Joey is sleeping about 7 hours a night, but My screen only says he is sleeping only..1.9 hours per night.... ..That's not right!.. ... My mommy will take a look at my screen and see if something is not working right...But I feel fine...I hope nothing IS wrong... ..Ok, I have to go everybody!, Take care ok??

This is really creepy. Does this guy have some sort of perversion and this is just feeding that perversion? Most of us gave up kiddy talk years ago.

He reports that he is someone who writes children's books and he is writing a book about a child's CPAP machine, from the perspective of the machine. This could be a useful tool for children who have the need to use xPAP therapy or children who have friends who need xPAP. Could also be useful for children who have parents who need to use such therapy. For children who have high levels of curiosity and just want to know about things or for parents who want some variety in the things they read their child, this could be a new and interesting topic.
Maybe claiming to be the author of children's books is some sort of perversion. Maybe being amused by such posts and responding to them is a perversion in an of itself. In that case, because I do find it amusing, I will add yet another perversion to my List of Ways In Which I Am Changed To What Is Unnatural or Abnormal (
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/perversion; defintion 5).

I'm still waiting for the unveiling of the cartoon picture of Breathie1 the cpap machine. This is almost as much suspense as the unmasking of that dude on the Bachelorette. Yuck, Yuck, Yuck.

Hi Everybody!, It's good to talk to you again, I only have a little time to talkt ho, master Joey is coming and is gettting ready for bed soon, and I have to get ready to help him sleep.
Ok, My mommy checked my electronics today and told me that I am working properly, she said that maybe the reason my display thats shows master Joey's mommy how many Hrs average Master Joey is sleeping each night is not showing the right information is cuz maybe Master Joey's mask that he wears is leaking!. ....funny, but When I see master Joey sleep, it looks like his mask is working fine. Master Joey knows how to adjust his mask before he goes to sleep, so how is he having leaks?? ..I dunno...but I'm going to see if I can help him get his mask on a little more snug on him..I cant make it too tight or Master Joey will have a mark on his face...GULP! oh..and He washes his mask every 2 days, so that should help too..
Yesterday tho, Master Joey really had a tough time getting to sleep, and i found out the reason why, he was getting a stuffy nose..EEK! ...I saw master Joey wake up and take his mask off, he turned my blower motor off and then went to sleep without his mask on!.... ....I felt realy bad...not bad like my fellings hurt bad, but feeling sorry for master Joey not sleeping good BAD...the good thing is that he took medicine for his stuffy nose and maybe now he will use me all night this time! , I hope so.
Ok everybody, master joey is here!! Gotta go work now!!..C you all soon!!
Love and Hugs,

Hi everybody!!, I'm sorry, I missed telling you yesterday about my day..ummm..I was..busy... .....ummm..i was...busy...playing with...my..water chamber...watching the water..move around... ..Im. sorry!!....Im a boy CPAP!, I have to play!!..heehee..and well,..I lost track of time and forgot to write... BUT I DO HAVE MY NOTES!! ..Let seeeee.. (Breathie flips through his little notebook pages to October 1st)...ummmm..AH!!..Here it is...AHEM!!
Master Joey slept kinda good today...he slept like 3 hours before waking up at night, he began fighting with his mask a little bit, I guess cuz it was bothering him, so I turned on my RAMP feature and lowered my pressure, He fell back to sleep after i did it... ...then he woke up again 2 hours later, fell to sleep again and woke up again about 6 o clock AM, he took off his mask and got up after that. so my work was over then...Master Joey looked happy when he woke up, So I think he had a good sleep for today..
OK, That was SATURDAY.....On SUNDAY, which is TODAY,......Master Joey slept 5 hours without waking!!!!!! ...YAYYYYYY!!!!!, He had a better sleep today, he fixed his mask a little and fell to sleep for another hour, then he woke up and took off his mask and got up, Today is church day, so he had to wake up early to go to church. sooo.. i am very happy today because Master Joey didnt wake up as much as other days, ...I hope he has another good sleep night today...I'm gonna suprise Master Joey tonight, I am going to use my LULLABY button feature tonight for the first time to see If Master Joey goes to sleep quicker. what that feature is is it turns on my SD CARD music files and it plays Master Joey's favorite lullaby songs to make him relax. my mommy told me this is a good time to use my lullaby feature for the first time. I can't wait to try it on Master Joey! heeheehee!
OH!!..I almost forgot...Master Joey DID take a little nap today...he took only a 1 hour nap...and used me for that hour..heehee..That puts my TOTAL USED HOURS to..149 HOURS!!!.. ...YAY!!,..Im Being used alot!..Im so happy!!!
Ok Everybody, I need to go now, i will talk to you tomorrow!..BYE BYE!!
Love,

Hi once again everybody!.
Today was another good day for my master Joey's sleep time. I was smiling at him when his mommy tucked him in his bed, then when it was time for his treatment to start, I turned on my Lullaby feature and played Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, When You Wish Upon A Star, and the Brahms Lullaby songs to him...I think he couldn't last before When You Wish Upon A Star!..HEEHEEHEE ...he fell asleep near the end of Twinkle Twinkle little star, and he fell asleep with a smile on his face.. ...ahhhhh..it feel so good when you see the ones that you love at peace, and my little motor warms up with happiness, knowing I am helping my master feel so much better.
My master slept a total of 5 hours today with a nap in the afternoon, 6 total hours...I know his little body needs more rest, but i am really working hard to help him get all the sleep he needs....I did see that his mask was making some noise while he slept... ..... ...I think air is escaping out of the mask... ..that's not good...but he didn't wake up!..but he does need to get his mask noise go less....But I know master Joey's parents are going to try to make it better...I'm not worried.
ok everybody, untill tomorrow, I hope to talk to again soon.
Love and Hugs,
Breathie CPAP
