Re: ResScan Flow Limitation Chart

I was using ResScan 3.10 and couldn't download my first night of VPAP data. I loaded 3.14 and ran into problems that Resmed is going to have to help with. I got 3.14 running on my husband's computer and looked at the measly 3+ hours of data that I got before aerophagia knocked me off the machine. Oddly, my AHI is 2.7 with all unknown events!?! And my FL graph, which usually looks to varying degrees like a child scribbled up and down on it, is a straight flat line (in the good range). What the heck? Am I cured of my FLs or is something wacked with this version or something else?!Lizistired wrote:Just a note on this for others not on VPAP that might try to eliminate flow limitations with increased pressure.
I went back and looked at my flow limitation graphs when I was using EPR. They were minimal, but I had a higher AHI.
When I turned off the EPR, the flow limitation reported by resscan increased by as much as my AHI decreased.
Apparently breathing against the machine without EPR is percieved by the machine as flow limitation, which makes sense.
Of course as with everything else here, YMMV.
