Just because it was set up that way doesn't mean it always has to be that way. It is called a suggestion for a reason, and all I was asking for was more of a response then two letters, not something that is hard to do. Remember while I may be a newer member I will not learn anything from a quick answer like that.

I don't feel obligated to but if the number of posts is large it can push useful and helpful information off the first page pretty quickly.

Compartmentalizing stuff, be it tools in the shop, documents for accounting, or topics in a forum does not guarantee improvements in efficiency. From personal experience I can tell you that sometimes it's easier to look deeper in one large pile, than look shallower in many piles! The latter often prompts the question, "Just what the h*** pile (folder, drawer, etc.) did I put it in?" With one pile, the answer is always easy, the one in front of you! When something is put into the wrong pile, it can really be tough finding it!

Organization and compartmentalizing helps many tasks;
BUT sometimes it makes the whole business of finding answers even more confusing.

Maybe you should address your concerns to the Complaint Department. (i.e. the hosts/owners of this forum) FWIW..... It is possible to view previous pages, just click on the little numbered boxes and you'll be able to access older pages and posts. Pretty simple and straightforward IMO.

I am sorry for posting a suggestion in a thread with many pages about what some people think to be a problem on this forum and being new enough to not know it may have been addressed long time ago, but then again with all the posts on this forum it isn't hard to miss things.

The threads get "bumped" to the top whenever a post is made in them. The more interesting or relevant ones get bumped more than others. If there's no interest in a thread with no further posts, it dies naturally by scrolling into obscurity. (until it's exhumed for some reason)

No need to be SORRY, many people come here with suggestions for making changes to this forum, without reading the many threads others have posted about change, that have been discussed in the past.

We people that have read them, are willing to accept the forum as it is, warts and all. It's a survivor, it's here to support Nubies along the road to treating Sleep Apnea, but in doing that we are a family, complete with the problems of all our weird relatives.

Most things you need to know to get your treatment corrected, has been expressed hundreds of times, people aren't finding then has more to do with being to lazy to brouze and or read, not to mention search, which is not too effective.

OT Posts, do make the forum turn over, but only 1/10th as fast as Newbe play on the POLL's, bring dead useless outdated junk to the top of the pages, in a vain attention to feel relevant. (Poll Lock's)

This is a good place as is, many helpful good people, and a few children playing in the street. The owners, don't lay hands on unless something goes really wrong, usually the bad influences get bored and move on, it would happen much sooner, but you can't control what others do, and there's always someone that keep stirring the pot. That can happen very quickly, too. The oldest response on Page 2 at this moment was posted 6:47 am, Friday, Nov 20, 2 1/2 days ago! The oldest response on page 5 is only 10 days old.

That is why I quickly dropped all the other forums I found for this one - that and the 48 hour turnover time between posting and it appearing well censored on the forum.
