Go ahead and install the software. It will ask for some information about who is using it. You can put anything in those questions and agree to use it under a physician's direction (you have a RX from a physician or you wouldn't have the machine so you technically will be using it under a doctor's care) then the download will begin. There is no cpap police. No one will come knocking on your door in the middle of the night.

Well Roger, I probably would have been checked for prostate trouble but I am a woman. Lol. Had to rattle your chain on that one. Without me assigning myself a gender I guess it could go either way couldn't it?

Well guys (gals), it never hurts to be "cautious" about all of this software download stuff. I just went ahead and put my real info in. I mean, really. Are they going to arrest me? Make me pay for it? I "found" it for free...... ha ha ha. Glad ya'll are having a little fun at my expense. I get that all the time . All in good fun I say .

You are new and probably haven't seen my whoppers that I have been told thread so I will repeat what I was told by the sleep tech during my titration study. We were just talking during the wiring up procedure and I mentioned about getting the software to monitor my own therapy. He told me 'Oh, No... you can't do that. It is against a
federal law". I thought to myself what an idiot. At that time ResScan still openly sold the software to patients and of course EncoreViewer was available for purchase.

Better check out your equiptment again, by listing your gender as N/A, sounds as if you are unsure yourself. You might have prostate trouble and not know it. Jim

OK Roger and Goofproof, I've got my gender listed now, so as not to confuse you guys!
And by the way, still having issues with the frequency. I stop liquid early in evening. Sometimes just a sip or two right before bed with Advil. Could Advil do this?

I cannot believe this is exactly what I experience with getting up on average every hour to p before therapy. I do have afib and the explaination of the heart impact makes sense. But after therapy I oly need to get up once during an 8 hour period. I loved the machine just for that improvement alone. I am a new user so this forum is like GOLD info for me. Thank you all for your help.

Last month, when I reverted unexpectedly to frequent bathroom breaks during the night, it turned out that I had a urinary tract infection (pylonephritis). I found out after I got a fever and chills that sent me to the emergency room. Roger2 also suggested the possibility of infection. I don't mean to be an alarmist, but if you can't track down a cause and the situation persists, it is something your doctor can check for.
