Ameriken. Ive noticed you have to have a very low leak rate with your Quattro FX. Are you doing anything special, such as a mask liner. If so which one, if I might ask. I hope I can do as well with mine. Thanks ! dan

I highly recommend Pad-a-cheek for the Quattro FX. It solved all of my leak and mask farting issues related to the ASV.

Dan, I think I'm just lucky for not having any issues with it. I haven't bought anything special. I wipe the liners every day to remove any sweat and oil, stay fairly cleanly shaven, wash my face before bed, and other than that I think I've just been blessed with a good fitting mask.
When I was titrated he had me on a medium and that one leaked and was very uncomfortable, so we went with a large. But other than that, leaks have been a non-issue and I have nothing special I can tell you other than perhaps seeing if a larger size might fit a little better.

Ditto. I also have some REMzzzs mask liners that I've used successfully with the Quattro and Quattro FX masks.

Just checked my leak rate over the last 2 months with my Quattro FX and S9 ASV and the median rate is 0%, 95% rate is 2.4, and max is 8.4. I also use Padacheeks liners and they work like a charm.

Hey guys, I just noticed over at CPAP.com that they are implying that the older REMStar BiPAP AutoSV Advanced now supports "A new Patient Flow and Event report enables users to view a weekly breakdown on per-breath basis."
https://www.cpap.com/productpage/remsta ... chine.html
Does this mean there is a new version of Encore Pro that will do this? Or, more likely, has some web geek just gotten the details wrong on the website? Maybe he just copied the language from the PR System One REMstar BiPAP AVAPS Machine details?

Unless I'm missing something, I already get a 12 page report in EP that shows the past 7 days. Wouldn't that be the 'weekly' report they're referring to? I'm using Version 2.4.12.2

That's been on there for a while, and is incorrect. There is no flow or pressure waveform on the older ASV unit, just on the newer PRS1.

Yeah, that's what I thought. I think Deborah is the only one of us that has the new one.

Yessirre, that thing is definitely Techno-Supremo!
We need an equipment review!
How about:
- MSRP is $5500.
- On sale, about $4000.
- I thinking that 80% of ASV purchases right now are by people who won't benefit from that technology.
- You can get a refrigerator, range and dishwasher of superior quality for $4000.
- You can get a refrigerator, range, dishwasher, washer and dryer that are plenty good for $4000.
- I'm thinking that 50% of househouses would greatly benefit from new appliances.
- "Do the #&!%ing math."
- Does anybody know the HCPCS Code for a Kenmore Elite Super Turbo-Wash?

Last night, again EPAP=4, PSmin=3. Still feeling better than without CPAP, but not as good as I think I should be. I may keep along this track for a while and see what happens.

Not a bad approach. Some of your PTB is 100% at times, which is better. PB is not, however. What is your PSmax right now?
