If you would like to be notified of SleepyHead updates and have not done so already, please join the sleepyhead-devel mailing list at:

https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/lis ... head-devel

You may need to create a sourceforge account first.

Sleepyhead 0.86 doesn't work with win7 64bit. When I was importing data from SD card, win7 pop-up a window said that the program has encountered a problem.
0.86 works fine for me on win7-64.

The last version had issues (I believe you are aware of this Mark) with under reporting the levels on the waves. Will this be fixed in the new version or anytime soon?

Just downloaded this today. It has worked perfectly and is such a great source of info. Thanks so much Mark! Donation sent.

I'm not 100% sure what you mean by under reporting the levels? The Y Axis Scale?
Which graphs are affected?

Hmmm.. I really should really get unlazy and create a "sleepyhead-users" or "sleepyhead-announce" list for this purpose..
Otherwise non-nerds on the list will be occasionally flooded with very much code nerdyness. :}

Finishing the automatic update part and doing a scheduled check would also be useful. It would pop up a question dialog asking if you wanted to move up to the latest version.
I would make an option in preferences to turn it off of course, and another to set the frequency of checks..

Ok,

Reporting another bug here: I've upgraded from SH 0.8.4 to SH 0.8.6 on both my Eee PC and my Mac.

On both machines, in the SH 0.8.4 overview graphs, I got a trace of all four of these for my System One BiPAP Auto: min EPAP setting, max IPAP setting, 90% IPAP level, and 90% EPAP level. On both machines, in the SH 0.8.6 overview graphs, I'm only seeing the min EPAP and max IPAP, which of course I already know. It would be nice if those 90% pressure levels would come back.

Interestingly, I finally got around to uploading the old Resmed S9 Auto Set data from Fall 2010. That went very smoothly and it's nice to have one piece of software that lets me easily compare last fall to this one. Notably, the 95% pressure levels for the S9 ARE there in those overview graphs. It's just the System One 90% pressure levels that are missing. And, yes, I did trash the SleepApp folder and re-import the data on the Mac. It didn't seem to be a problem on the Eee PC.

Mark created a sleepyhead-users mailing list, which may be more appropriate for some folks than the sleepyhead-devel mailing lists.

Update announcements will be posted to the sleepyhead-users list.

You can subscribe and unsubscribe to sleepyhead-users and sleepyhead-devel at:

https://sourceforge.net/mail/?group_id=513997

You may need to create a sourceforge account first.

robysue, you may want to join the -users list and post your questions there.

I'll try again, but when I did that earlier, I got an error. I was able to join the developer's list.

Has anyone looked at the data on an F&P SmartStick? It's a USB card. If you plug one into your computer, does it show up as an extra drive? If so, it might be possible to add it to the list of CPAP machines supported by SleepyHead.

Mark would probably need to decipher the data format and add code to read and interpret the data. Have you contacted him and provided him with some data? Do you have such data?

This is the kind of enhancement best discussed on the mailing lists. You can join the users or devel mailing list here:

https://sourceforge.net/mail/?group_id=513997

You probably need to create a sourceforge account before you can join the mailing lists.

There are now two mailing lists for SH one for developers/testers using git source/nerdy types (sleepyhead-devel), and the other for support/help/release announcements/problems with binary builds (sleepyhead-users)

Sleepyheads page at SourceForge also has bug reporting and feature request stuff. Easier than mailing lists, and you can sign into SouceForge with openid (using google, Yahoo, etc)

As for F&P USB sticks, I have a very nasty suspicion they are encrypted/protected somehow. (I am hoping I am wrong on this one) I really need to see a zip of the USB stick to get a better idea on their layout. (any volunteers? F&P icon series is on my want-to-support list, along with DeVilbiss IntelliPap)

Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if Philips and ResMed start encrypting their data.

Well, it's not their data, it's yours, and that would be very sucky thing for them to do to their paying customers.

If any of them tried to encrypt it, I'm sure we would have it broken in no time for interoperability purposes..
