I have to agree. Breathing on a 4 is just too low.

Set it for pressure of 5-9. Later you can move up to 6 if you want. A lot of people here recommend a narrow range so that the machine reacts quicker to an event.
I too have a mild case. My titration was 7. My range is set 5-9. Originally it was stupidly set for 5-20. I woke up with a stomach full of air with the high end pressure. With a narrow range, my ahi is under 1. Many times it can be 0 with a few hypopneas. Much of my success I owe to others here. Their advice is very good. I hope your blood pressure goes down. Your doctor should be commended. I like the approach. Cpap is a lot better than medication over the long term.
