No clues offered? So we should ass-u-me that you know how?
I may not be a rocket scientist but neither is this rocket science.

Another?? Don't be so sure I can't. And IF I had a Resmed machine you can bet I would have already.
There are people who think positive and then there is everyone else. Which cloud do you live under?
If you are gonna say someone can't, kindly say why - IF you know. To say someone can't with no reason why, no foundation is not at all helpful and a waste of space.

Then there are some people who twist everyone else's words into an attack so they can start an argument. Please read what I wrote, Gumby, instead of reading what you want to hear so you can take offense.

Yes it's helpful, if the person it was aimed at takes note of it and doesn't do something stupid that might damage their equipment.
I know what it does. I can't tell you what it does. Go figure...

I am so sorry you went from naysayer to super-sensitive in 2.2. I live with one of those, so I see it often. I didn't twist or turn anything my friend. Maybe you should read what I wrote and know that JMMO= Just My Meaningless Opinion.
iirc - it was Dr. Barry Krakow who identified a symptom of untreated apnea as ANT - Automatic Negative Thinking. Of course the first thing someone with ANT would say is "I don't have have that". Go figure.
So the bottom line is there are those here who think that connecting 3 wires in a DC circuit is difficult even IF you know where 2 of them go.
What did they call the people who said Alexander Bell and Ben Franklin were both nuts? Were they untreated too?
Debby Downer comes to mind in a silly way.
Would you tell people here you don't know anything about this mask but they shouldn't use this mask.
I thought this forum was about helping - helping people. All I was trying to do is help the Resmed folks figure out how to use a DC cable when the Resmed "Experts" failed to reply in another thread.
Forgive me but I won't say it won't happen again.

Most XPAPs use 12 volt d/c input, one brand chooses to use 24 volt D/C with special wiring (Non-Standard) and requires a overpriced solution to power it from D/C. It seems the real problem is buying their over prices machines that are non standard. One solution would be buy product that was 12 volt friendly, or if not get one for the times you require a 12 volt friendly XPAP. Also you wouldn't be put at risk of damaging your overpriced non standard XPAP. Jim

Please continue to enjoy arguing with yourself. You obviously don't need my help to carry on a conversation.

For all we know Guest is a Resmed engineer who anonymously lurks on this board to see what folks are saying about Resmed equipment. He very well may know, but be bound by employment terms that prohibit him/her from disclosing inside info about their equipment or risk dismissal. If that is the case then he/she really is helping us by making it clear that the use of the 3rd wire is not a simple matter to decipher, and to home make a power supply that doesn't mimic the Resmed ps properly could easily fry one's S9. There really are some folks in this world who know, but can't tell.

You give him far too much credit. More likely someone w/SMS here just to stir the pot, the BIG pot. JMMO

I spent enuff time in this world to know that those 'undercover ops' don't post on the internet to say, I know but I can't tell. That is just too childish.
