Looks like a hook in the back of your tongue. Wait til the vid gets to about 1:18. Wish I understood it.

The website says this is a disposable device, like a toothbrush, and needs to be replaced every 2-3 months. Although the replacements don't require an office visit, it doesn't say if they would be willing to ship to the US. So I'm not so sure I'm ready to run off to Europe to get fitted just yet. Hopefully, they will open an office in the US soon.

This is very interesting! I was able to understand around 80% of what was said as I speak German (it's Dutch). The person who was interviewed in the beginning said his apnea was 200% handled. The procedure is surgical but can be done in a doctor's office. They want to bring it to market the following year (whenever that would be). The Swiss device would only have an effect on the soft palate. This device would handle apnea caused by the tongue blocking the airway.

From what they published in English, they used the same criterion used by the UPPP supporteres -- i.e. a 50% reduction in AHI.

Not good enough at all, in my book.
