Actually an APAP will do this. My machine does. I use 10 cm min and 20 max. Most of the time I see around 11 or 12 but sometimes I see 15 to even 18.
Your machine will not do it because it is a straight CPAP only machine. Delivers a set pressure. I can switch my machine over to straight CPAP like yours if I wanted to. It is an advantage to having APAP. Any APAP can be used in straight CPAP mode. So like 2 machines in one. Your PR S1 Pro is straight cpap only. Certainly not an inferior machine for what it does but you can only utilize one pressure setting at a time.

Weird that people complain about high pressures....11 and eyes water? I was initially at 25 and I took to it like a duck out of
water, no prob bob! I only lowered it because my monitoring with software showed I could. Pressure never bothered me.

My machine is also an autopap.
I set my pressure at 11-17cm.
My 95% pressure ranges from 11.2 to 16.4, depending on mask, fit, sleep position, or something I have not pinned down yet.
I titrate both my machine and my insulin--The only way once I got the hang of it.

Josh, if you get up to go to the bathroom, I'd recommend turning the machine off (you can even leave the mask on and just disconnect the house--why mess with a good seal if you don't need to?). If you leave the machine on and remove the gear, you're going to introduce more error into your data.
