I have purchased it at a number of different places, including walmart and my local grocery store.

It seems like the 3" would work too - I need to try that sometime.

I used the ace bandage around the mouth and back of head several years ago, instead of taping. It works well but is rather too hot in summer. Still using a verticle piece of tape over the center of lips...quick and easy, and encourages the mouth and lips to stay shut.
