User name is just my nickname, and the avatar I am using now is just a recent picture of me that Dr. Cloudy likes.

I've been a scrapper, figuratively and literally.........
My avatar is favorite picture from a cruise I took with my kids through the Panama Canal. I've always admired long, lean people--because I am not. Even when I'm thin--I'm short--not long & lean. This particular picture was taken right after this particular randy male ostrich mounted his female and did the deed right in front of a bunch of us, shook off his business, and started to strut........ When the kids and I got away from the crowd, we about died laughing--both at the ostrich, and the varied responses of the people around us.
The picture brings back fond memories..........a day is not complete without warm memories and laughter!

Honey, where is my ham sandwich? I'm waiting.
Baby, you're going to be waiting until the end of time.

Do you really think I would marry someone who would demand that I bring him a ham sandwich?! You must think I've lost my (interesting) mind!

The camera loves Jaylee; I don't think she can take a bad picture.

I am a Certified Coding Specialist in my career since 1988, and often use "Codinqueen" as my username when available, since I got my first computer, because I was actually called "Codinqueen" at the Dr's office where I worked for a few years back in the early 90's, and they made Dymo labels for my desk & chair that said "Codinqueen". Seems that there are coders in the computer careers too, and sometimes someone else already has my username so then I use another. Sometimes I am "Gatorb8" in interest of using an uppercase and a number, and also 7 characters long, for certain websites that require that. I like to watch the alligators at the waterholes on the golf course that I live next to, and I could actually be gator bait some day if not careful on a walk! I have also been various variations of my real name on geneology websites, but will not give it here since it is my geneology site name, so I can fish for others searching my ancestral lines, who then contact me if they think they have some info or are related to me. I have been researching my family tree since about 1982 and run into brick walls routinely, because I have 5 different Miller lines in my tree, on both sides, all from SW Pa. Anyway, I digress.
My avatar is an owlet from The Owlbox in San Marcos, Ca, that was broadcast on ustream(dot)tv last year, and I didn't exactly choose it by myself. This was an owl I screen shot who looked like she was singing along with the Molly Bobble, a song created for the owlets' & their mom & dad, Molly & McGee. I had that pic in my pic file and apparently the computer decided to put it in as my avatar, with no help from me whatsoever. It actually surprised me when it popped up as avatar, and I still don't know how to change it if I want to. I am a catlover too, and have 2 lovely rescue kitties who are my sons, at my house, and there were already several cat avatars, & I am pretty mouthy, like that little owlet, so the owlet pic was a good choice made by the computer.

I love that story. I really enjoy hearing the stories behind the pictures and user names.

No, but I have heard the "otter know" joke many times. You're the first to come up with a new variant in long time.
