robysue is a run-together version of my (very) Southern nickname for my (very) Southern double name.

The butterfly avatar is a picture I took at the Smithsonian when I was visiting with my brother and his wife and there was a live butterfly exhibit. Amazing what my Pentax DSLR can do when I'm paying attention.

My name comes from my initials and never mind about the numbers. It's easy to remember. My picture is one of our cats who loves having her picture made. She is such a spoiled little princess.

To Update, my avatar is my PPD - precious puppy dog named Bubba, who is now 15 years old. The picture was taken with our very first digital camera in 2002 and was the first picture taken with the camera.

While pondering an online alias when I went online, I fixated on amusing and music both of which occupied a good chunk of my time at the time. I started spinning variants in my mind... muse-inc struck my fancy and stuck. Years later, I fell in love with the image, reminds me of frazzled mind and spikey skinny fur, er, ah, well, what passes for my hair. Oh yeah, I love cats, had 6 at one time, all since gone to that great beyond now, oldest was 22.5 at transition

I use Hueffenhardt or Hüffenhardt as my name everywhere I post online. And to my knowledge I am the only one who uses that as a username anywhere on the net; and that is what I wanted when I picked a name. I did not want to use my real name. I used my real name once and acquired a very scary stalker (no joke). But, I wanted a name that is as unique to me as a surname. My paternal ancestors immigrated to America from a little village called Hüffenhardt in Baden-Würtemburg Germany in 1738. I discovered that when I was really into genealogy. So, I decided to use Hüffenhardt as my username and Hueffenhardt. It is customary to put an 'e' after a vowel when using an alphabet that does not use umlauts.

My avatar is my wife and I and daughter in a UU fellowship building.

When I first joined an internet forum, I needed a user name. I was in the midst of a SERIOUS family dispute and was trying to come up with a user name that fit my mood for that specific forum. Believe me, Mad-a-lot fit perfectly because I was constantly pissed off.

It was easy to remember and stuck so I just kept using it on other forums.

My avatar was originally a cute kitten that appeared to be smiling. I changed it to "sink kitties" and kept it because a wonderful member of the forum liked it. Now that it's been used for a second time by someone else, I retired it and use a picture of one of my cats instead.

In case it isn't obvious, I love cats...

I have worked and taught inside Second Life for a number of years now, and Emilia is my avi's name. I chose that name because I really have liked it or its other version, Amelia. Shakespeare had 5 characters named Emilia in his plays, and being the retired English teacher and Anglophile that I am, it was a good choice to go with the surname I chose in Second Life.

My avatar here is explained at the bottom of my posts..... that is my sweet kitty!

I grew up in an Idaho mountain valley, and still think of myself as a 'boy'. I've also used idahomtnboy, longvalleymac, idahofinnboy, and variations thereof. I've also used a variation of my real name, which I won't share here.

The avatar pic is the historic Rainbow Bridge on Idaho Hwy 55 north of Boise. After I took that, and several other pictures of the bridge, my brother reminded me that if a cop had seen me taking them I would have been in deep doo-doo because of post-9/11 security concerns!!

DoriC is an abbreviation of my full name and the initial of my last name. My avatar was placed here by my darling granddaughters as a big "surprise" for all to see and I don't have the heart to replace it. This is a fun thread!

I think my name and avatar says enough.

Honey, where is my ham sandwich? I'm waiting.

Since there are so many cat Avatar's here I figured I'd just add one more.
The cat in the pitcure is Zeke, my 23 lb 3 year old Main Coon. From Nose to rump (not including tail) he measures in at 30 inches long. So a avarage sized Main Coon Male.

Ingore the guy in the background.. >.> He just lives there to feed Zeke, and the other 5 in the pride of cats. Yes I am a cat person. Dog too. But mostly cat.
