What flummoxes me is what those 2 "secret" channels are for:

While they're clearly associated with respiratory events, the correlation does not seem to be precise.

Ummm... Secret#1 and Secret#2 don't exactly sound like clinical terms to me...

Oh! I know! Let's call those two graph lines... Conjoined Universes: Subterranean Unicorns and Rabbits

LOL! They are actually unlabelled-- if you display all channels, the waveform and properties appear. I edited the Names in with the software.

Do the rabbit ears and unicorn horns line up in any rough way at all with flattening, snoring, or "hypopnea" labeling?

SDB might be a bigger problem in the rabbit and unicorn populations than we EVER imagined.

...I wonder if they're running fuzzy or probability indices of some kind... perhaps toward validation of FOT. They seem to perfectly correlate with some subset of FOT occurrences.

They do seem to correlate with respiratory events, but not 100%. In the whole night:

that OA in the mouseover does not have a spike. Yet, it does appear as an OA in ResScan (an AHA! moment that I thought I had).

And that salvo at the end is missing quite a few spikes.

Right, but there just isn't consistency to any pattern. There always seems to be some (or many) outliers to any theory on the meaning of the spikes.

In looking at the numerical value of Secret #1, in a group of 13 events, the obstructive value was consistently lower that those associated with centrals. However, after establishing a "cutoff point", the rule did not hold.

Looking at S1 values, and flow magnified to see FOT flow:

S1 might be associated with FOT flow, but above, it seems to analyze (or whatever it's doing) whenever it feels like it.

OK, I'll change the labels to something a little more scientific:

....not understanding a word, but assiduously collecting all these images of bunnies, unicorns, spiked shoes, and FOTprints.
Tossin' 'em into the SAG-bucket.

Insurance against the day when Photobucket kicks 'em out into the street and broken links litter the pavement.
