Well I can say that when I first came here, it was hard to follow threads as its a very busy board (thats a GREAT thing!) But one of the wise oldtimers pointed out that the search function was available. Posts once thought to have been lost, were just back a few pages.

The rest of this I will take Ozij's advice and ignore

(she posted a wonderful thread on ignoring what we don't like, use the search to find it )

A very disingenuous statement, imho. Of course you intended that. Your real wish came true.

There are several very good message boards supporting sleep apnea patients. This is one of them. ASAA is another.

Am I not allowed to defend myself??? Are you the arbitor of my intent?

BTW, I never said the ASAA board was not a "very good message boards supporting sleep apnea patients" My issue with them was never related to the subject of their value to the OSA community... just the motivating forces behind the organization. Your making this remark in the context of this discussion just serves to misrepresent what I have said in regard to the ASAA in the past.

Guest, you and ozij are exactly right. Search turns up a lot of things in the recent past as well as the older past. A very good suggestion. Smiling and ignoring, as I should have in the first place.

RG -

I think it was you that told me about it!

And I was the guest that mentioned it, thats why I posted "guested" below it. But this is WAY off topic.

Has anyone actually seen one of these machines in person?

<<RG, I have noticed posters claiming that posts "disappear" on this forum. I have not seen it and think that this claim is inaccurate and may be an attempt to besmirch the image of this forum.>>

I posted to the effect that earlier posts about the new Respironics M Series machine (including some I had made) disappeared. This is what I thought happened. If I was wrong, so be it, with appropriate apologies to whomever.

However, I have no idea how my post could in any way "besmirch" the image of the CPAPtalk forum. This is the only forum I read for advice and information on CPAP issues. (I am a relative newbie.)

I think I'll just go back to lurking, rather than to try to add any tidbits of information I might have.

Jeez.

Oddly, threads dealing with this new product seem to disappear from this forum.

JPZeller, you're doing fine. Nothing in your post was besmirching a message board at all. As Mikesus said, this forum is so active, topics slide off onto page 2, 3, etc. pretty quickly...it's easy to wonder if they've gone into limbo.

Please keep posting, JP. Discussions about the "M" machines are very interesting. I'm looking forward to seeing a complete report on one.

WOW!

I've been gone for a while and I come back to see Rested Gail? picking on Wading through the muck? Is this some kind of joke?

I hope my fellow pilot chrisp, is still around... he was always one for a good laugh. He just picked on the DMEs
