South Beach! C'mon, the Pier is just up the road! We can do fun stuff!
So, Muffy, you would come to the reunion?
I'll have to consider the location and agenda.

Given some of the relationships around here, I'm thinking one of the festivities is going to be a bracketed Ultimate Fighting Tournament, and I need to see where I'll be seeded. I'll don't want to end up in the conci's any sooner than is absolutely necessary.

Well, we haven't gotten Johnny & Carolyn's RSVP, so perhaps it won't be in Houston after all.

Who is working on the agenda? (What agenda? I thought we meet and say, "Wow, I never pictured that you looked like this" and stuff like that.)

So you're thinking you'll be a spectator and not a participant?

Assuming that isn't a veiled invitation to enter the fight cage at the "event" ( ), I believe that another way to phrase that question might be: "Has your lecture/presentation fee decreased in recent years to reflect the economic downturn?"

Another another way to phrase that would be: "If I wanted to go to work, I'd go to work."

lol.

Back in Victorian days doctors would prescribe and ocean voyage like an around the world trip.
Does anyone think insurance would cover that? If so then we could do everyone - except you are not getting me onboard anything bigger then a canoe - however I live in a deep water port so you could visit me.

Muffy, why do I have this feeling you're pulling our leg and you would not show up to any reunion? Did you go to the talkaboutsleep one?

Not so!

As a matter of fact, I see great potential in doing something over the weekend of September 9 - 11 (as Jeff suggested, we can catch a game)(and based on that, you can pretty much guess who's gonna be wearing which T-shirt) and it's off for our cruise out of Captree. Up at 0500 for a run on Gilgo (weekend after Labor Day, it'll be deserted)(relatively speaking). Catch a show Saturday night ("Jersey Boys" -- what else?). Loll around the Park on Sunday, where there will be two discussion topics:

I like the idea of our all getting together to watch the movie "Catfish."

FTS.

We're watching Private Ryan.

A better review:
. . . What starts as a simple story of personal connection — two people getting to know each other via e-mail, Facebook, phone calls and text messages — explodes into a curious and thoughtful examination of identity. It’s also about how technology can change the way we present ourselves to others. . . . “Catfish” becomes not only a wrenching human drama, but also a precise encapsulation of the promise and the dangers of a web-connected world [that] allows people to rewrite their lives, allowing users to present whatever version of themselves they want the world to see — and even their so-called “friends” may not know the real person behind the screen image. -- Sean P. Means.

How about Paris? (Paris in France of course )
Don't forget the power socket adaptors and to get your CPAPs cleared for the transatlantic flight!
Lets charter a plane for an overnight transatlantic flight (although I'm not sure the onboard electric supply would take it ).
