Confused about what? That your AHI is still way too high? Or confused that you are capable of reading data off the machine's LCD? Or confused that you are asking for a new machine?

If he gets back with just another pressure figure for you to try, politely ask what evidence was used to come up with the new pressure level and politely, but firmly tell him that you really would prefer to do a week or two of autotitration at home in an effort to get the pressure setting correct instead of relying on guesswork.

Also since you don't yet have the software, bring the chip into the DME and asking them to print a report of all of your data for you and also fax a copy of the all the data to the doctor's office. And see if the DME would be willing to add the word "URGENT" to the fax's cover letter. Or bring the chip directly to the sleep doctor's office and ask the receptionist to print off a copy of all the data---not just the compliance data for you and make sure the doctor sees a copy of the data too.

LOL, I think he was confused by both actually...I called Apria so that I can get them involved with this. I'll be seeing them today with the SD card so hopefully there would be a resolution to this soon.

Good luck with this. I am in the process of getting my S9 Elite replaced with a S9 Autoset and it took a few phone calls but I am supposed to get a new machine on Monday. Stick with it because at first I thought, "Oh well, I already have this machine," but the more I read on here about the importance of an APAP machine, I realized that I would be so much better off if I just insisted on the change now. Most insurance companies won't buy another machine for five years so it is important to do it now. Good luck! Your doctor is the one you need to convince. Once my doctor faxed a new Rx to the DME, I received a call that day saying the machine would be replaced.

From what you say with numerical data, we can't blame it on centrals and can't blame it on leak, that pretty much leaves pressure...

Maybe the EPR of 3 is affecting things. It does relate to a 3 cm drop in pressure during exhale. Effectively lowering the pressure by 3 for the amount of time during exhale...

Do you use the ramp? If so how long?

I would want to see the report in graph form to be able to say with more certainty but sure sounds like the pressure isn't warding off the events.

Not a stupid question at all, I guess you were supposed to read my mind.
This is what I do.
Use the snipping tool to crop the image that you want.
Save it in jpg format to location you can get to easily. I use my desktop.
You will need to have a photo hosting site like Photobucket.
Upload the file to the photo host site
Then copy the entire IMG address (be sure to include the IMG part) then paste that into a post here.
Use the preview button to see if you see the image.
If not try again, if you can't see the image, we can't.

You need to post the picture to a photo sharing site like Flickr, Picasa, or Photobucket (to name but a few); capture the image url on that site; put that url in a post here; HIGHLIGHT url and then click on the IMG button above the edit box; click Preview to see that it worked; click Submit to post.

But I already see what I expected. The pressure isn't effective except on those nights that have short red bars. There were only 2 nights with AHI of 5 or so. Looks like the 10 and 11th.

Can you get me an example of one of those and one of your bad nights? Might not be able to get a good night to show since it is over 7 days old. For sure you can get individual night that was recent.

Odd that you had a couple of good nights though.....

What did you do different on those 3 or 4 days where the red bars are lower?
Do you have a kink in your hose?!

I'm sorry Pugsy...but i'm not sure how to pull that data. Does anyone know how to use REscan 3.12?

To the left of that chart, you should have a column of dates. Click on a recent one to highlight it. Then click on the detail graphs tab to the right of the summary tab from the chart you just showed.

I did that. I clicked the date and then clicked on the details graphs tab and it says No Detailed Data Available.

When you download your card, click select data, then select ALL and check the little box under that that says something about detailed session. Then click download
