Yes, there certainly are a lot of acronyms in sleep medicine! It took me a while to figure out what they all meant, and some I still don't thoroughly understand.

I have not forgotten about you guys. You are my angels. I've been getting so much restorative sleep lately! Usually getting anywhere from 6 to 8 hours of non-stop leep and AHIs of 4 to 0.2. I'm feeling absolutely changed. How r u guys doing? And what r u up to these days?

I am doing fine. Ripped up the tiles in my kitchen floor the other day and today is tile laying day. Got a friend coming over with her wet saw. Putting down slate. Husband is truck driver, he won't be home till tonight after the hard work is done which is good because he means well but bugs me when I tackle a tile job. Hovers like a mother hen.

Glad to hear that you are doing well. I figured that you were enjoying your new found energy and feelings. Please come by ever now and then to keep us posted on how things are going. We are all a bunch of mother hens here.

+1. Alex, your story is a fine example of how a patient who is well-informed can advocate successfully to optimize his or her own care. It would make a good addition to the success stories thread.
