Can't help with Pro but you get the same information with Encore Basic. It wors great with Win 7 and have a work around for Win 8.

Certified newbie, looking for CPAP software recommendations and download locations. I gathered some information and softwares, but decided to stop for directions and see if I could avoid well established pitfalls and PITAs for a change. I have just received a PR System One 60 Series REMstar Auto CPAP Machine, I have a PC with Win 8.1 Ent x64, and can run most other OSs virtualized. I also have Sleepyhead and EncorePro 2.2, and I see evidence of, but haven't yet located a copy of EncorePro 2.4 x64. Perhaps it's just a mirage. Sorry if this sounds disorganized, I dozed off three times before finishing it. I sleep during the day and then go to bed at night.

Where can I download the latest available copy?

What is the difference between Basic, Viewer, Pro?

I need Encore (whatever version) also please.

I wouldn't mind trying the latest viewer version. If anyone could please PM the link.

Windows 8.1 is going to be a potential problem.
The latest Encore Viewer version most likely won't install on Win 8.1.
There is a work around that involves installing Viewer on older OS and manually copying it to the Win 8.1 computer.
I don't have access to any Viewer software though. You would need to buy it and try it yourself if that is what you want.

Anyone wanting Encore Viewer....cpap.com and make sure your computer and cpap machine are all compatible. $100 and no refunds.....

I might instal my copy Vista in a virtual machine and go through the whole phoning up MS to enable it. I've used it previously on various Macs I've owned but figured I'd try to avoid the need to contact MS to get past the copy protection mechanism - It gets invoked whenever hardware component changes exceed a certain percentage. I'm perfectly happy purchasing Encore Viewer but will need to look elsewhere as clap.com can't ship Resmed or Philips Respironics products to Australia.

On a totally unrelated subject, I'm glad you're feeling better. I have found your sticky about understanding SleepyHead data terribly helpful and informative.

I looked at your posting history and saw you posted once last year......I guess I missed that one.

Anyway, take care. I don't have the answers to your questions.......and I'm not sure if there are any versions that will currently work with your O/S. I'm still using XP until I absolutely HAVE TO switch.

Encore Viewer or Encore Basic won't install on any Windows 8.xxxx OS. The problem is with the installer.
If we bypass the installer and just do an old fashion copy/paste onto the Win 8 computer they work...or at least they did on Win 8.0....I assume that it also works doing it that way with Win 8.1.

Encore Pro 2.12 will install on Win 8.0.
I have had a few reported install failures on Win 8.1.
Don't know if it was the usual Pro failure or because of Win 8.1.
I will send you a PM in a bit an point you to Pro...if it won't install...get back with me and we can do Encore Basic with the workaround but I have to send you something special.
