Funny thing is that this started with postural, but have found now that I can get dizzy just sitting down.
My BP tends to swing a bit too. ...
Glad your neurologist is referring you to a specialist in autonomic nervous system disorders. There's a bunch of them. And unfortunately, due to the fact they involve the brain stem the overall prognosis is not all that good.
But as your neurologist notes, 35 is a bit young for most of those disorders.
You might find that drinking a tall glass of water will help you maintain your BP. It's not perfect, but it helps.
Of course, the downside is that you only "rent" the water. A couple hours later you will need to deal with it.
Hopefully this will turn out to be something innocuous. But in any event, I hope you are able to find some answers that you can accept. And remember, no matter the diagnosis. You are more, much more than the diagnosis. Continue to strive to do and be as much as you can. That's all any of us can do on our journey.

Yes, it has lowered my morning blood pressure considerably... or, my doctor was right in suspecting that I had sleep apnea that was raising it. From 130/85 to 120/75. It has enabled me to cut back on my dosage of blood pressure medication.

I have had most of my life 120 to 60 for blood pressure and the doctors an nurses always commended me as I am now 64. I do not have weight problems and I stay fit. However, I have been diagnosed with a mild apnea. I started using CPAP about 45 days ago and I have not failed using it once. I use a mask for nose and mouth coverage. My Respironics machine keeps track of my sleep and my 30 day average sleep is around 5.75 hours, AHI is 5.25 and the 90% Pressure of average day use is around 8 and daily highest reading have been 11.5 and the lowest 4.75. A few days ago I had a physical for my employer and it showed I had hypertension and I got a reading of 157 to 76. I never had this type of high reading before so I am trying to correlate this to the CPAP use or whether I have other related issues. On the positive side, since I started using CPAP my cholesterol TCH, LCL and HCL all dropped which is good news. I had had those in the middle to upper border line level but still safe but now they dropped to the satisafactory below level. Unfortunately the HCL also dropped a little bit rather than increasing as desired. Another issue my cardiogram still showed I have RBBB which is one reason why opted for using the CPAP. I now wonder if the decrease in cholesterol is a cause for hypertension? it should be the opposite.

Post as a new 'topic'- this one's 2 yrs old. But cholesterol and BP are not related in the way you're asking about.
