Yep, I gotchyer meaning, RG. But you see our difference are what should make us such a valuable pair for PSG research and training. ARE YOU LISTENING, PSG AND SLEEP RESEARCHERS AND TRAINERS???
We is the Good, the Bad and ..... who do we invite to go along w/us for the Ugly??? (Ugly by disposition, not by looks).

Why,
SleepingUgly, of course! Not "Ugly" by disposition or looks, but just 'cause her nickname is right! And she'd be fun at the sleep study party.

Sounds like a winner!!!
I just thought of ugly by dispostion as a good challenge for a sleep techie trainee.
BUT - fun for us sounds more better for us!!!!! SleepingUgly is our choice then! Its unanimous.

Wait! I want to be the "Ugly"! I have lots of things going on, too. Mostly just don't get decent sleep.

Great! I'm in! I needed a post-op sleep study anyway! When do we start??

We've gotta find the durn sleep researchers, sleep tech students and sleep tech teachers and twist their arms to convince them we are the perfect guinea pigs for the PSGs.
NOw that I think on it tho - IF we can find someone w/a really ugly disposition we could volunteer them for any RRTs who want to get an easy pass on qualifying to do PSGs!!! Don't you think that would be fitting?
UncleBob, I apologize for stealing your thread.

Maybe Muffy could move his sleep lab again and use us to calibrate the machines?

That really
would be a party not to be missed! The problem is, I don't think anyone would get any sleep.

SleepingUgly wrote:Did they titrate to eliminate RERAs? How was the outcome of this titration different than the one before? If I remember correctly, you were doing this because you were still tired on your previous pressure, right?
Some questions for me to ask the doctor there. I did it because i was feeling tierd and had 2 or 3 days a week with lots of centrals.

Sure, Bev! You're in, too, even though you're a far cry from "ugly" in any way.

I think we can goad each other into some pretty good rants, Slinky, if we put our minds to it.

Did they change the pressure or anything else based on this titration?
This Should Clear Things Up!

Count me in too!
However, in spite of a cast of hundreds in GBU, you guys have taken the 3 Brand Name Characters (although who's Bev gonna be- "The Babe With No Name?")
I think I'll be Rowdy Yates:
He's the guy who came earlier but was later and had a name before he lost it and even though GBU was the last of the Trilogy it was really the first which would make The Man With No Name and The Man With A Name contemporaries (speaking historically, of course) relative to the beginning of the saga (
The End).

OK, so I think we decided that Rested Gal, Bev, and I will spend 3 nights at Muffy's lab. We'll be randomly assigned each night for having our hypopneas scored by either the AASM Recommended, AASM Alternative, or Chicago criteria (no condition repeated within a subject). Neither we, nor the sleep techs spending the joyous nights with us, will know which condition we're in on any given night. Muffy will do the scoring and will be blind to whose data he's scoring. Carbonman is going to show us slideshows of his nature photographs before bed so we can relax. Who would like to entertain us so we will stay awake during the day?
