Instead, I lost the prime of my life due to untreated OSA....Also, I believe Id probably be in law school now if my OSA had been treated in 2000 instead of 2007. Now I doubt I will ever make it to law school. <snip> I get mad about it when I think about it so I try not to think about it. If I had been aggressively treated with CPAP in 2000 when first diagnosed, rather than in 2007, I'd be living a totally different life right now. Unfortunately, the insurance I had in 2000 sucked and the doctor I had at the time (a lousy PCP), refused to have me treated. I badly WANTED to be treated for OSA in 2000. I should go back and sue that doctor and have a pitbull trial lawyer rake him over the coals until he has a mental breakdown in court, but I bet the statute of limitations is over.
I know you have a whole lot of living to do (in between writing authoritative posts about CPAP use), so I'll keep my response brief and to the point:
It's not the OSA or the doctors fault. You aren't going to go to law school because you aren't smart enough. I really am just being honest.
OK

To each his own. If you feel no ties here or no obligation, by all means, take what you need to be successful again in your treatment and go on with your life. Nothing wrong with that - just might not want to burn your bridges by critizing the choices of the community you turned to for help in your time of need.

Ahhhhhhhhhh...
A gun hating, anti-American Canadian? Are you guys still part of the British Commonwealth? LOL HAHAHAHAHA!
Jealous that Canadians cannot just buy a gun like Americans can? Wow, how very much FREE you Canadians are! <cough>
Mikey[/quote]
As a gun owner I must say I am embarrassed with your above statement. You are a dumbass. The people who converse here do so because they like it. They don't need any other reason. Now go be a pain in the ass to another forum.

For example, rather than posting here, you look like you could BADLY lose some weight if you got off your butt and off the Internet and got to a gym. See my point? Once recovered, LIVE!

I try not to get involved with brats like you but this is OUR lovely Jaylee you're insulting! I don't think you belong here. We all have interesting and sometimes difficult lives that we share and those who are not "sick" anymore with OSA because of the help they found here want to pay it forward in gratitude. Even those who have succeeded in their therapy come here to see how their friends are doing or benefit from some good tip or interesting article or to start an amusing thread(Jaylee, I'm betting your latest one goes on for at least 20 more pages ). Mikey, I hope you can get your anger under control.

I agree with you Dori.
Jaylee, even though I didn't do it, I am so sorry that a person here was so rude and insulting to you. I don't care if this is the internet. It's still inexcusable and just not right.
I'm glad that you seem to be able to easily brush it off. Bless your heart. I'm still sorry somebody felt the need to lower themselves so much as to try to hurt you that way.

You know, I play cards on the computer at Yahoo.
Sometimes you get in a room and the other players are such jerks
If they don't get their cards, or they lose that hand they start.....
calling each other names, insulting them...and they never even met these people. Their words are horrible.
I do believe there are jerks that hid behind the internet. They feel safe there to spit their venom.
In real life they have no friends because of their temper, personality or whatever makes society reject them.
But on the internet their anonymous.
We were just unlucky enough for this dude to find our forum.
For sure he is just another Troll.

My brain is fried from too many years of untreated OSA. Give me some slack, treat me like you would treat a brain damaged individual. I wanted to be treated, but my doctors and health insurance all said NOOOOOOOOOOOO OSA is silly. Took a visit to the chest pain observation unit in a major metro hospital to get the ball rolling where I saw some real doctors who treated me.
But now Ive backslid because of a broken machine and I am having trouble with the newer machines. I will probably be in the hospital by next week.

If you end up in the hospital it will be for other things, not just untreated OSA. You better get there quick! Are you taking your meds?

Now once you see something like that, or similar, then you can reasonably assume that the user knows how to use -

and that not only are posts
not going to get through to ResmedUser, but ResmedUser will have the satisfaction of knowing that his answers will continue to cause frustration, and it is likely he is leaving the interaction with the satisfaction he is after.
Further comments to him are probably a waste of time, and we all have better things to do.
Unless, of course, we need to express our feelings about this. Then his reply will not matter.
And as I never get involved in this kind of stuff anymore -
I WAS NEVER HERE

Mars, you're no fun anymore! But I agree with you that I think we know we can't help Mikey and that he needs professonal help, but just needed to express our outrage at some of his insults to make ourselves feel better.
