You should never have started this thread, you said. You are certainly right about that!!
When you were given reasons why people stay here when their therapy is going well, instead of accepting that people have very good selfless reasons to be here, you got defensive of your original statement and then went from there to downright mean and nasty.
Is this your life? Is this who you are?

Look all I said was once you recover from OSA, you are better off doing other stuff than hanging out on OSA message boards. Its unhealthy to dwell on yourself and your illness. Whats so difficult to understand about that? Some chic whose picture suggests she is at least fifty pounds obsese starts trashing me for suggesting such commonsense, EXPERIENCED OSA knowledge and I tell her to get off the net and go to the gym. And I feel like a ton of bricks fell on me.
LOL <shaking head>
YES IF YOU LOSE THAT NASTY FLAB, YOUR OSA MAY IMPROVE. A LOT!
That means logging off, going to the gym, getting on some cardio equipment. Dont forget that bigger bandwidth means a wider butt.

Dear Mikey,
1) Remember to inflate your water wings BEFORE going to the pool versus after,
2) Have your Life cereal checked for psychotropics---especially in light of all those pranks your brothers like to pull, and
3) Ease up on all that senseless gun shooting.
Just sayin'... what I think it might take to improve YOUR life. Good luck with that!

deleted because I shouldn't have said it in the first place. Apologies for letting my emotional response to an attack on Jaylee override my good judgment.

My husband is 5'11" tall, and weighs 160 pounds... and spends more time on the computer than I do. He's been known to say that he's not out of shape... he was never in any shape to get out of! But I'll lay odds he could out-walk almost anyone on this board with the exception of Carbonman.

I don't think you're honest at all "Mikey". In fact I think you're pretty much full of shit. In another thread a few days ago you were extolling the virtues of weight loss for OSA treatment. Now in this tread you claim to have lost 50lbs. And yet your treatment has gone bad lately. So obviously weight loss isn't a cure all is it?
What you don't seem to realize is that this is a community. People here help each other, but more than that, they genuinely care about each other. Sure, there can be some pretty heated argueing sometimes, but that's all part of community. I didn't come here for a long time, but recently I began to miss the people.I also missed the satisfaction I got the odd time I could help someone out. I guess you don't need this community because you have your little gun toting playmates. To each his own.
I guess your new avatar sums up what you really are "Mikey". You are a pathetic little prick who only feels good about yourself when you belittle others.

A gun hating, anti-American Canadian? Are you guys still part of the British Commonwealth? LOL HAHAHAHAHA!
Jealous that Canadians cannot just buy a gun like Americans can? Wow, how very much FREE you Canadians are! <cough>
