Jaylee, please don't dispare! I've been single for longer than I care to count because I refuse to settle and my kid's safety and well being was more important than any man. I totally understand your frustration and desperation but like scrapper said look for happiness where you are at. I myself get frustrated because of the stigma of being a single parent. People say it doesn't matter but.... Anyway I'm doing my best and taking care of me and mine.
I did want to thank you for putting this out here because I have felt that way a time or two and I am grateful for all the positive responses that are a big help for me to look at things with a different perspective.

I don't think I am deseperate. I just made a stupid choice, is all. It hurts, but it is fine. My ex always told me that no one would ever like me, so sometimes I worry and panic that he was right.

Hey Jaylee I guess I said that wrong and didn't mean you were desperate (wrong choice of words). I just meant that I understand. Men and women can say nasty things to each other and even though we know it's not true it does still hurt and makes us mistrustful. Again I state, keep your chin up!

I know that I am cute, and smart and funny, and any man would be lucky to have me. I am also worthy of being treated like I am precious and I deserve someone who is honest all the time. I am not sure if he is out there or not, but maybe. Right now, though, I am kind of done with looking.
