That is amazing that they have lasted that long! Did you do the O-ring fix when they were new, or wait until they were starting to wear?

I've been a CPAP user less than 60-days, I started with a nasal mask, then tried a full mask, then a Swift Lt, then a Swift FX. I attached the rought velcro to the back straps of both the LT and FX to help prevent movement during the night. That helped the leaking considerably on both. However, I'm also a side sleeper and the FX leaks when I move. I have the hoses elevated the similarly on both. I really hoped the FX would work because it's much lighter and I don't really like the rigid sides of the LT. But, I seem to be able to use the LT with minimal leaks. So, I guess I'm stuck with the LT. It seems like the large pillows of the FX are a little smaller, no?

I waited until the pillows started feeling flimsy.

For stability, the LT is definitely best.

But with the velcro inside the back band AND hanging the hose, the FX is stable enough for me in that it takes just the slightest adjustment for me to keep it in place. However, I'm a pretty still sleeper--I rarely move much in my sleep.

For comfort, though, the FX just can't be beat.

I recently switched to the FX after a year with the LT. No complaints with the LT, just looking for something lighter. I've been very satisfied with the fit and seal from the 1st night. Much more comfortable for me than my LT.
