I've been on my ASV dreamer hose machine since Nov 19 2010. As Bob Dylan once observed. "I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now."
Edit: I just turned 55 this summer.

Well, I just turned 40 in April (oh snap!) and I've used the mask every night since I was 28. Thank god.

68. first diagnosed at age 41. ignored it til age 52 when i got my first brick. that was when bricks were bricks. fooled around off and on with that and an m series brick that i got at age 59 . at age 61 the sky fell in. I hadn't been using my machines regularly because i just could not adjust to the straight 12 pressure and the doctor's only reply was to keep trying. Now i had developed asthma and copd and had many er trips for now what i know were classic anxiety symptoms. but they just kept saying, no problem, go home. at age 61 i got a new pulmonologist who also became my sleep doctor. i bought a new apap 550 and have had a 98% compliance rate since then. that was also around the same time frame that i discovered sleep apnea forums

I'm 75 and have been on BIPAP for 2 1/2 years. First diagnosed around 1996 and opted for surgery (UPPP, septoplasty, and turbinate reduction) instead of using a cpap. Machines were larger and clunkier then. The only mask the sleep lab was a nasal mask which did not work for me as I am a mouth breather when sleeping. My job required me to fly frequently, and I was already carrying a nebulizer when traveling and did not want to drag around one of those old style CPAP machines. My wife is 72 and has been on BIPAP for nine months.

Been on the hose for three months and hate the whole thing. 12 masks later-still hate it.

Believe me, we hate it too. We wish that the first mask would have worked great for you.
Then we wouldn't be seeing these same posts day after day.
