Sadly Freud also had an oral fixation that led to his incessant cigar smoking. And his incessant cigar smoking, in turn, resulted in oral and terminal throat cancer. (edit: not pipe smoking)

Kind of ironic.

According to "Mr. Word Person", that term fell out of favor in the mid-60s when it was realized that

1. By the time one got it out (so to speak) 'it' was already over; and
2. People using that term were summarily executed for failing to understand the concept of "Latin Lover".

Linguistic is my métier I even get some diplômes on my walls that is proving it.
