Do you press the "info" button as soon as you wake up or some time later? I find that when I press the info button after 12 mid-day, it always shows 0 for the readings. If the time is set wrong on your machine it might mean your 7am in the morning is the machines 12 mid-day (as Uncle_Bob suggested earlier). To check the time settings, you need to go into the "secret settings" of the S9 machine. To do this press and hold both the settings button and the knob pushed in for 3 seconds then go to the second tab down.
The other way to check (if you are computer savy and have a SD card reader) would be to look for a version of the ResScan 3.12 software. If you do a google search you should be able to find links to it.
