A lot of people have this belief - for example Scientology and other religious groups belief that any modern medical technology is contrary to their god's will. These people will be lurking and wanting answers to this kind of question but afraid to post just for this reason.

There are some benefits to the belief system but it has to be applied appropriately. I worked with a lot of this stuff over the years to help me deal with my migraines - when combined with modern medical technology it is very powerful and gives one the sense of control over ones life and issues instead of just being at the mercy of medical authority figures. It doesn't really matter what gives people that power as long as they take it. In a way it is saying that "you can't get better by doing the same thing that made you sick"

"The gods help those who first of all help themselves"

TROLL!
Reason: only one post.
If this person actually has OSA, and I doubt that is the case, he would log in and continue to post.
Since he has vanished (or continues to lurk) he may be interested in nothing more than tossing corn to the fish.
The intelligent discussions in this forum are not that amusing to a rabble-rouser.
He is probably gone.
A true believer with serious health problems needs to go to his own conscience and will to live to determine the correct path.
Some folks are truly cursed with this respect. Sorry, It's sad when faith demands too much.

I don't know weather he is a troll or not, it could be that he read some of the posts and decided he wasn't getting the answers he needed so he left or he is still around. But what ever the case I hope that he gets the treatment he needs. because he is messing with his life.

I doubt that Hardyh is a troll, in the correct meaning of the term troll. A "troll" on the internet is someone who drags some "bait" through to see who will "bite" ("Troll" is a fishing term, not a guy who lives under a bridge).

The troll doesn't care about the bait but instead is only interested in the bites
....
Well it sure seems to me that many of you "took the bait and bit."

One post, no profile...just a name in the ether, and pages of wasted verbiage. I'm sure he/she is laughing his/her ass off. I know I am.

Well that makes sure he or she won't bother to come back and ask again or even discuss the issue.

When you find the natural way to cure sleep apnea and its associated afflictions best bong a patent right on it cuz you will be worth bazillions, having put all the blower manufacturers out of business, etc.

So, while you are doing your research, if you could tell me how to regenerate my lungs back to 100% capacity and maintain my SaO2 at 95% while in REM sleep without the use of XPAP and infused O2 I would be eternally grateful.

Genetic engineering will eventually reach sufficient maturity that we will see the end of cancer, MS, MD, CF, ALS, and all of the other afflictions that seem unbeatable today. Great strides are being made as we discuss this topic and I have little doubt that in my children's lifetime they will see an end to most 'major' diseases and afflictions - but new ones to deal with at the same time.

In the meantime, I guess unless someone has a better path, I will have to go with APAP, infused oxygen and all the paraphanelia that goes along with same in order to live a healthier, longer life. Do I enjoy wearing a blower and mask every night, wasting my time following my data and maintaining up to date knowledge of the affliction(s) and their treatments? Absolutely not. Do I want to find my magic bullet? Absolutely yes. Can I depend on my MD's for co-ordinated knowledgeable care? I wish I could say yes, but the fact of the matter is that OSA/etc. is not recognized as a major issue excepting as a profit centre. As my GP says "If I can recognize it and prescribe a pill for it, great.... otherwise you get a referal to a specialist".

The question may have been a troll question, but it should really get everyone thinking about the future of OSA/etc.

Eventually, everyone will be your twin brother.

BTW, Death keeps the population down.

Possible but unlikely as long as men have wienies and partners to share them with.

True but unacceptable to politicians as it reduces the tax base.

My holistic guru said that exercising on the Australian didgeridoo helps aepnea. There may actually be something to it, though I never tried it.

Watch this guy's neck muscles. His throat and pharynx must have an enormous volume.

OP wants to know about a natural way of dealing with SA. There it is. And cheap, too. Go for it.
