I use straight CPAP @ 18cm and a Hybrid mask. I have no trouble getting a good seal and low leak rate. I use Lansinoh (nipple grease) on my nares and keep my mask and face clean.
Other than that, it's a matter of finding the right mask and tweak tweak tweak those straps. I had a decent experience with the Liberty, but found the Hybrid worked better for ME. (They are of similar design.)
Keep at it! It will happen.

I am still fighting the leakage issue. I started out with my comfort gel mask last night and about 4:00 woke up to a load leak. Couldn't seem to readjust the *&^* mask plus it hurt the bridge of my nose. Changed to my liberty mask and finally drifted off. Reawoke about an hour later with a headache and the darn straps hurting. Yanked the (*& thing off. It is very discouraging. I do feel better even with all these problems but will I ever get used to this equipment. I have been on the machine for a month now. I have a CPAP pillow and that has helped. Any other suggestions???????

Yeah!!!!! I am finally getting it. I had issues with all the maks that I tried. A member of this forum suggested I try the Hybrid Full Face Mask w Nasal Pillows. He stated he had better luck with this one than any other. Voila. I ordered one and finally have a mask I like, no leaks and a good night's sleep. My energy level is going up and I am feeling more and more like myself. If it had not been for this forum I never would of known about all the different equipment, trials and tribulations of other users. Thank you CPAPTALK.com and thank you sooooooo much LinkC.

Congrat's from me as well! There can be a lot of trial and error getting used to CPAP and this forum is a great way to share information.
So LinkC or Irish, can you explain the difference between the Liberty and the Hybrid? To my uneducated eye they seem about the same.
I am currently using the Liberty and occasionally swapping to the Quattro now that the Remzzzs mask liners are preventing leaks. It's great to have options.
