I had the same kind of thing jan/feb that turned into pneumonia, Like TorontoCPAP says - as soon as your breathing starts to feel "challenged" get to a doctors asap. I had had it before so I went early and got antibiotics. It was also like a cold that turned into the flu which seemed to get better and suddenly my breathing was worse.
Flu with cpap is much much easier. I used my quatro and turned the humidity way up. There were days where I was tempted to wear it during the day because breathing was so much easier at night than during the day.

How am I feeling today? .... I still feel very sorry for myself!
This is what doctor prescribed...
Amoclan Forte 625mg
Inteflora
ACC tm 200
He says it is Laryngitis.
My throat is still burning. Luckily, the second night was better (with cpap) BUT
last night was a nightmare! I was in and out of sleep the whole night.
Anyway, I am not going to get dressed today either - will stay in bed and read my love story!
(Yes, I know, I AM a pain in the neck -
sorry)

I'm still feeling very sorry for you, too! It sounds positively miserable and I hope you get over this very quickly.

You're welcome. I've had to change my thinking about antibiotics and am happy to share what I've learned.
