Aw, shucks, Muse. You've done things up real brown. I hope you discipined that naughty step thoroughly!! I also hope the injury (or should I say injuries?) heal quickly giving you full recovery.

Sorry to hear about your "adventures." It sounds like you are on the way back, though. Things will be all peachy soon.

Muse, I can certainly sympathize with shoulder pain causing poor sleep. I'm so sorry that this happened to you!

Thanks all! Means a lot. I still have my ups & downs with the level of pain, esp at night. Last night's AHI was 6 yikes but all hypops...graph looks like a necklace of beads . My range of movement is vastly improved, so I know I'm on the mend. Doc has me doing 4-5# (my purse ) passive stretches and 'wall walking' (fingers crawl up wall) to get first one arm up and stretched & then the other. Doc still wants me mostly off the computer as much as possible for the next week, so I won't be here too long at a time. So glad I have an APAP as it's eliminated a lot of concern I had about sleeping on my back...another reason for recommending APAP over CPAP machines.

Update: well, I can raise both arms now. I still have bruising and can't move quickly or in fact normally, but I am improving. Still on the same dose of the anti-inflammatory+pain combo; if pain was an 8 before, it's down to 4 most of the time. I still have to sleep on my back; as a result, my AHI is running between 4.5-6 & my apneas range from 10 -18 secs . I still have more leak but attribute that to back sleeping and being propped up. My left arm & shoulder aren't happy when I go to sleep as they hurt when I wake up...sometimes, that pain wakes me up. I have a folded towel propping my arms up higher to align more with my body being propped up -- it helps some. Still, this is all healing, even if slower than I expect
I miss y'all! But I feel a lot better when I'm not at the PC 'cept to load detailed data, so I'll not be around much. I gotta get better for Dragon*Con in a few weeks

I'm lighting another candle for you.
I'm glad to hear your getting better.
I hope you'll be well enough to be at the Atlanta CPAPtalkers meeting this Saturday!
