It actually doesn't take very much petroleum to cause a problem, much as it doesn't take much water to drown. A person who is not on any sort of respiratory therapy might take years to see a problem. A person on forced air therapy can aspirate significantly faster than one who is not.

You obviously have made up your mind, and refuse to comprehend that placing the petroleum externally will not force it into your lungs.
Forgive me if I ignore your ill-informed hearsay "evidence" and fear-mongering, as I prefer the concrete evidence that it causes no harm based on my seven years of direct experience.

The area between my nose and lip where the pillows rest gets irritated. Washing the pillows in hot soapy water and using AYR has helped.
