That's Luke recuperating after getting his hand chopped off by Darth Vader. From another movie you didn't see. But it seems plausible to me. Probably want something midway between water and jello.

I suspect that Christopher Nolan (writer and director) left it like that to make room for a sequel. I read that the studio gave him $160 million to make Inception, and it looks like from the first couple of weeks of box office receipts that it will return many times that amount. So, he'll get to make a sequel if he wants to, and I can only guess where the sequel's plot would spin, but it would be great to see him go more with Mal's idea, and have Cobb need to follow up on her lead. And of course, we need the Ariadne character back to help him navigate through yet more dream inspired labyrinths! lol

Saw the movie tonight. It was a little harder to follow and I was somewhat distracted by the body odor of someone sitting near by (My surgeon should have included this when she outlined the risks of septum surgery...). But I did like it.
Maybe all you people are a dream. This doesn't seem quite like the real world. It's actually rather lacking in detail and you all seem so 2-dimensional...

bdonahueweedman, from what my son-in-law told me, it's a futuristic bordering on sci-fi movie about the manipilation and exploitation of dreams. All you have to do is say the word "dream" to be relevant on this board!
