Yes, the numbers indicate the event duration in seconds.
The ideal goal of xPAP therapy is to eliminate apnea events. The realistic goal is to reduce them to the minimum possible. The 'official' goal of most sleep doctors, as I know it, it to reduce AHI to less than 5, the formal threshold for what is 'normal'. As you read more and more here in the forum you'll find that almost no one reaches zero AHI on a sustained basis, maybe for a night or two or a few more, but not for weeks at a time.drj130 wrote:Understood Uncle Bob. If the mask was a good fit, why would I be having all those obstructions? Doesn't make sense to me.
